Aerial Fusion is a unique way to fly and defy gravity with a blend of yoga, pilates and dance inspired movements done with aerial silk hammocks. The aerial hammock is used as an apparatus to help support and suspend areas of the body in the air 2 – 4 feet from the ground. Aerial Fusion is designed to develop a balance between breathing, stretching, strengthening, and relaxing, all while exploring playful movements with your body. No experience required!
We are pleased to welcome students back to in-person classes at Pure Energy Dance. Our staff and Board have been working diligently to implement health procedures and guidelines based on the Alberta Guidelines.
We are closely monitoring policy changes and public health organizations and will continue to make changes, as necessary. The plan below, coupled with personal responsibility, presents our best efforts to keep our dancers, families, and staff safe.
Every year in June our Little Dancers get to shine up on stage at our Annual Recital !
This is often the moment when children really learn to love dance. Getting to have a special costume and head onto the Big Stage, just like the older dancers makes them feel like a star.
It is so amazing to watch a dancer who at the beginning of the dance year may have been nervous to go to class, but then gets up on stage and struts their stuff for their loved ones to watch.
These little ones can be unpredictable on stage, but that is part of the fun. Our Tiny Toes, Happy Feet, Primary and Junior dancers always steal the show with their adorable smiles, bright shining faces and sweet dances!
Tatti’s training started at an early age on another hemisphere. She fell in love with dance after her first ballet lesson, and with time it became clear her passion was not just for ballet, but for any and all forms of movement and body awareness classes.
After years of extensive training and performing in Brazil and other places in South America, Tatti discovered the Circus Arts on silk classes, after a while came the opportunity to run away and join a real Circus and she spent a number of years travelling the US performing, loading, unloading, riding elephants and travelling on a mile-long train with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Baily Circus.
After her time with the circus family, Tatti felt the need to expand her spirit and added Yoga to her repertoire.
Tatti believes her love for dance and any other body movement comes from a number of past lives and she is so thankful she can use this life helping others reach within and finding their own way to express their passion for movement.

Samuel was originally inspired by music artists and street dance pioneers. He initially began by teaching himself and now under the guidance of Empirical Freedom, a collective of artists based in Calgary, finds himself learning various styles of dance including Hip Hop, Krump and house. Sam has performed for various venues including 10 to 10, United Way and Downton Calgary. Utilizing his exposure to various mediums of art including dance, film, and photography, he teaches to provide dancers the ability to find and develop their own unique style. Sam hopes all dancers will grow their self-expression and confidence by finding what dance means to them.
Thanks to our amazing sponsors for our annual Adult Fun Night Fundraiser we were able to raise over $4,000 towards studio operating cost. By raising this money we are able to keep our fees low, which lets us bring dance to children whose parents might otherwise not be able to afford dance!
Thanks to the generosity of family and friends that attend our year end show on June 23 Pure Energy Dance Foundation was able to make a donated to The Salvation Army to help Calgary Flood victims in the amount of $700.
