Will my dancer be participating in the Recital?

The Winter Recital is designed to highlight our Recreational classes and celebrate all the progress dancers have made so far this season.


It will include all Tuesday and Saturday classes, along with Wednesdays Kinder Dance and Thursday Recreational Acro 5:15 class.


Please note, it will not include any Competitive classes or Competitive Tech classes, unless directly invited by the Artistic Director.

When is the recital?

You can find the recital date, along with all important studio events, on the full studio calendar. It’s always a good idea to mark it early — this is a day your dancer will remember!

Where is the Recital?

The recital takes place at Glenmore Christian Academy, located at 16520 24 St SW, Calgary, AB T2Y 4W2. It’s a beautiful theatre space that gives dancers the chance to shine on a real stage!

How Long is the show?

Each recital is approximately 2 hours long, including a short 10-minute intermission — just the right length to enjoy every performance without feeling too long for little ones or grandparents.

How do we purchase tickets for the show? Do we choose our seats?

Tickets are available through convenient online sales — simple and easy for busy families. Seating is rush seating, so there's no need to choose seats in advance.

Is handicapped seating available?

Yes, absolutely. There is a dedicated entrance on the side of the theatre for accessible seating. If anyone in your group requires assistance, our volunteers will be happy to help make things simple and comfortable.

This is our first recital — how will we know what to do for hair, shoes, etc.?

Don’t worry, you won’t be left guessing! Clear, easy-to-follow instructions will be sent out to help make everything simple, stress-free, and fun for both you and your dancer. You can also visit the Performance Look Section on the website anytime for details.

Does my dancer need a ticket or seat for the recital?

No ticket is needed for dancers performing in the show. They’ll stay backstage with staff throughout the recital and join everyone on stage for the big finale.

Please note: For security reasons, dancers cannot be dismissed at intermission. Families are encouraged to stay and enjoy the entire show — it’s a wonderful way to celebrate the hard work and dedication of all the dancers.
