Tap

Ages 6+

Once your dancer starts tapping, they won’t want to stop!

Tap puts your child in control of the rhythm and beat — turning their feet into instruments. Classes start with the basics to build strong technique, while developing coordination, timing, musicality, and a deep sense of rhythm.

It’s fun, energizing, and a simple way to boost confidence and body awareness.

Classes available for both recreational and competitive dancers.

Can I watch my child’s class?

Classes are closed to parents and visitors — and that’s actually a big help for your child. It allows dancers to focus fully on their instructor without distraction, and gives shy little ones the space to build confidence in a calm, comfortable setting.

There will be special opportunities during the season to come in and see how much they’ve learned — and those moments are always extra sweet!

FAQ image

What if my child has separation anxiety or is shy?

It’s completely normal — many dancers feel this way at first. Your child will be gently supported every step of the way by caring instructors who understand how to help little ones feel safe, seen, and included.

Most children settle in quickly once they see the fun and start moving. And if it takes a little longer, that’s okay too — it’s all part of the journey, and your child will never be rushed.

Will My Dancer Have A Performance?

Yes! Every dancer will have the chance to shine in the Year-End Recital this June — it’s a beautiful way to celebrate everything they’ve learned and gained throughout the season. To keep things simple and organized, a non-refundable costume deposit of $75 will be charged to your account on November 15.

What Happens if My Dancer Misses a Class?

If your dancer will be away, just give the studio a quick call or text at (403) 250-0109 to let us know.

As a small studio, most classes are only offered once a week, so makeups aren’t available at this time.

Tuition is not prorated, as instructors are scheduled and paid for each class regardless of attendance.

Thank you for understanding — it helps keep things simple and smooth for everyone!
